Vox propone eliminar partidas en migración y derogar leyes para acabar con el «fanatismo climático»

The Vox Parliamentary Group has presented 46 resolution proposals for the ‘Debate on the State of Canarian Nationality’ in which they outline a set of measures to, among other things, eliminate funds for illegal immigration assistance, as they have promoted a «pull factor», as well as to repeal the Climate Change and Energy Transition Law of the Canary Islands to end «climate fanaticism».

Vox will also urge the Canary Islands government to «put an end to the discrimination» that they believe results in «more and more Canarians lacking resources and in precarious situations» while «administrations offer housing, mobile devices, and all kinds of subsidies and assistance to illegal immigrants», as they explain to the Chamber in a document provided to the media.

Therefore, in the third and final session of this Thursday’s Debate on the State of Canarian Nationality in the Parliament, the party will advocate for «eliminating all policies» that are detrimental to the Canarian and Spanish population, which, they argue, encourage the «pull factor» for illegal immigration.

In this way, regarding unaccompanied migrant minors, the political party advocates for promoting the signing of agreements for the reintegration of these individuals with their families, fostering collaboration with child protection services in Morocco, Algeria, Mali, and Mauritania.

They argue that this process would seek to «facilitate» the family reunification of the minor and ensure that their guardianship is assumed by the protection services in their country of origin.

VOX, AGAINST «CLIMATE FANATICISM»

In the set of proposals and measures included in the document to the Chamber, Vox will also ask the regional government to «put an end to climate fanaticism policies» which, they argue, seek to «make the care of nature incompatible with the well-being and prosperity of Canarians».

In that sense, they will defend initiating the necessary procedures to repeal the 2022 Climate Change and Energy Transition Law of the Canary Islands to «move forward» towards a model «that allows us to explore and research our natural resources, and mineral deposits, such as rare earths, with full respect for the protection of natural heritage», an argument they also defended in their intervention yesterday.

They extend their complaint to the «climate fanaticisms» they observe beyond, and also call for «rejecting» the European Green Deal and the 2030 Agenda. In their view, these initiatives aim to «undermine sovereignty, making us dependent on countries like Morocco or Algeria».

SOCIAL POLICIES, HOUSING, AND HEALTHCARE

The Vox Parliamentary Group will also request the repeal of all gender laws that, they consider, «instead of protecting women, have only served to create division and confrontation in society without reducing the number of victims».

They extend this legislative elimination to regulations related to the Trans community.

In terms of education, they will propose the implementation of urgent measures that enable «all Canarians» to access quality, free, and demanding school and professional education. They aim to guarantee equal opportunities, the right to education, and access to stable and quality jobs.

They also formalize the request for an «ambitious scholarship plan» that turns Canarian education «into a true social elevator», so that social or economic status «is not an obstacle to the merit, effort, and ability of the student».

Regarding the content taught to students, they demand that parents be informed in advance of «any type of affective-sexual or ideological content».

And in terms of housing, a key issue, they advocate for a «real commitment» to policies for the construction of public social housing under ownership or rental, with the option to purchase, to ensure that young people and families can acquire a home.
