A 60-year-old foreign hiker has suffered moderate injuries after falling in Montaña Blanca, in Tías (Lanzarote), as reported by the Coordinating Center for Emergencies and Security of 112 Canarias.
The incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon on the LZ-35, in the Montaña Blanca area, and firefighters and Civil Protection personnel were dispatched to the scene. They managed to rescue the affected person and evacuate them to where the ambulance from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) was located.
Subsequently, SUC personnel attended to the affected individual, who had a moderately severe ankle injury, and they were transported by ambulance to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital.
