A 50-year-old paraglider was seriously injured in a barley field fall in the municipality of Haría (Lanzarote), as reported by the Emergency and Security Center in 112 of the Canary Islands.
The incident occurred at 1:31 p.m. at the mentioned location, where firefighters from the Lanzarote consortium were dispatched. They located the injured person, rescued them, and transferred them to a medical facility.
Subsequently, emergency personnel from Canary Emergency Services (SUC) determined that the affected individual had severe injuries, prompting their transfer by medical ambulance to the José Molina Orosa Hospital.
The resolution of the incident also involved the participation of Civil Guard agents, who were responsible for the appropriate certification.
