La Guardia Civil established an extensive search operation in the area of Las Cocinitas beach, in the municipality of Haría (Lanzarote), where a 61-year-old man disappeared, who would have gone to Marisar after this month.
The search operation was carried out after this morning, on January 28, a relative formalized the complaint of the disappearance at the Guardia Costa Costa facilities, as reported by the police.
In the complaint, it is reported that the man arrived at Marisar in the aforementioned area starting at 3:30 p.m., with more information, only that he went to that beach. With the data provided in the complaint, the Guardia Civil, after the corresponding procedures were carried out, established a search operation on land, sea, and air by different specialties from Las Palmas.
Specifically, this search operation is composed of the USIC command of the Las Palmas Command, based on the use of drones, as well as the maritime service, a helicopter from the Fuerteventura Air Unit, Fiscal and Border Patrol. Company in collaboration with other security and emergency services.
