The cities of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and Las Palmas de Gran Canaria will host the events of the Day of the Armed Forces 2025 (DIFAS) from June 3 to June 8. ACTO CENTRAL DEL DIFAS 2025 EN SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE
On Saturday, June 7 at 11:30 a.m., the main institutional event of the Day of the Armed Forces 2025 will take place in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, presided over by Their Majesties the Kings. The route will extend from the Avenida de Penetración Sur to the rotonda de Víctor Zurita Soler. The event includes honors to the King, a parachute jump, flag ceremonies, homage to fallen soldiers, aerial and motorized parades, and more.
EXHIBICIONES Y EXPOSICIONES EN SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE
Where? In the Puerto Sur / Dársena de Anaga, muelle sur
Static exhibition and naval presence on various dates and times. Activities include interactive displays, demonstrations, and the presence of notable ships like LHD Juan Carlos I, fragata Álvaro de Bazán, and patrullera Río Guadiaro.
ACTIVIDADES EN LAS PALMAS DE GRAN CANARIA
Where? In the Base Naval, Arsenal, and Muelle de Santa Catalina
Static exhibition and ship visits from June 3 to June 8. Visitors can explore the material of the Armed Forces, including a visit to the submarine S-81 Isaac Peral and other vessels. Demonstrations and activities like defense, combat, and medical evacuations will be showcased.
ACTIVIDADES COMPLEMENTARIAS EN TODA ESPAÑA
In addition to the main events in the Canary Islands, over 260 activities will take place across Spain, including visits to barracks, concerts, exhibitions, and military events. Events will also be held in countries like Romania, Somalia, Turkey, Senegal, and France, where Spanish units are deployed.
