Motorcyclist Injured in Collision with Car in Tegueste
A motorcyclist was injured this Saturday after a collision between a motorcycle and a car on the TF-154, Portezuelo descent, in the municipality of Tegueste, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (Cecoes) 1-1-2.
Accident Details
The incident occurred around 2:45 pm when the 1-1-2 operational room received an alert reporting a collision between a motorcycle and a car and that the motorcyclist required medical assistance. Emergency resources were immediately activated to intervene in the area.
Medical Assistance
A doctor from the Canary Islands Health Service who was in the area provided initial assistance to the injured party until the arrival of the Emergency Medical Service (SUC) personnel.
Upon arrival, SUC medical personnel took care of the injured party, who suffered moderate polytrauma, and transported him to the University Hospital of the Canaries.
Police Involvement
The Civil Guard regulated traffic and carried out the necessary proceedings.
