Two women have been moderately injured in a head-on collision between two cars on the LZ-40, passing through Tías (Lanzarote), as reported by the Coordinating Center for Emergencies and Security of 112 in the Canary Islands.
The incident occurred at 23:17 on that road, where personnel from the Canarian Emergency Service (SUC) were dispatched. Upon arrival at the scene, it was confirmed that one of the women had moderate cervicalgia and thoracic and abdominal pain at the time of initial assistance.
The SUC personnel also assisted another woman who, at the time of initial assistance, had moderate upper and lower limb injuries. Both affected individuals were transported by ambulance to the Hospital Doctor José Molina Orosa.
Emergency personnel from the Consortium for Security, Emergencies, Rescue, Prevention, and Firefighting of Lanzarote also arrived at the scene, cleaning the road, while officers from the Civil Guard conducted the corresponding proceedings.
