Promesa de «muchas sorpresas» en grabación de ‘La Reina del Flow’ en Fuerteventura
DN7 Music Company foresees a shoot «that may make history» on El Matorral beach starting at 2:00 p.m. on April 2
Fuerteventura will become the stage for a shoot full of surprises this Wednesday, April 2, as confirmed by lead actors Carolina Ramírez and Carlos Torres during a press conference held on Tuesday in the municipality of Pájara. These two artists, along with the rest of the cast, expressed their excitement and eagerness to please the thousands of fans who will come to Jandía beaches to enjoy an event that «could make history,» as stated by David Navarro, head of DN7 Music, the organizing company of this shoot.
This will be the recording of a large concert starting at 2:00 p.m. on El Matorral beach in Morro Jable (Pájara), next to its iconic lighthouse. Entry will be free for all members of the public who wish to attend this unique event.
This shoot, set in the paradise-like natural stage to showcase the Jandía beaches to the world, has been organized by DN7 Music in collaboration with the Youth Department of the Cabildo de Fuerteventura, as part of the ‘Fuerteventura Joven 2025’ program, reinforcing the island’s commitment to culture and external projection. The event is also supported by the Pájara City Council and the Government of the Canary Islands.
During the press conference, they were joined by the stars of the show, the President of the Insular Council of Fuerteventura, Lola García, the insular Youth Councillor, Adargoma Hernández, the Mayor of Pájara, Alejandro Jorge, and the spokesperson for the Government of the Canary Islands, Alfonso Cabello, among other authorities like the Culture Councillor, Raquel Acosta. All of them were pleased to welcome the entire cast of one of the most-watched productions in history on platforms like Netflix, which travels outside of Colombia for the first time for a shoot, following the tremendous success of the shoot that took place last January in Lanzarote.
«When I saw the huge reception my colleagues received, I felt so eager to travel to the Canary Islands that I became the happiest woman in the world upon receiving the news that we would be shooting in Fuerteventura,» confessed Carolina Ramírez, who plays the lead role of Yeimy, the true Reina del Flow. «Now that we are in Fuerteventura, I can’t wait for the shoot to begin so that we can all take the stage together to offer the best of ourselves,» she added with a knowing smile, alongside actors like Carlos Torres, Kiño, Juan Palau, Mariana Gómez, Juan Manuel Restrepo, or the young actress who plays Alma.
The President of the Cabildo, Lola García, highlighted «an initiative that will have a great impact on the youth of Fuerteventura, within the objectives of the Youth Department to promote responsible and healthy leisure among the island’s youth population.» «We are talking about a series that is distributed worldwide, has had a significant media impact, and represents an example of overcoming obstacles for the youth.»
Both Lola García and the insular Youth Councillor, Adargoma Hernández, emphasized that the event is designed as an entertainment alternative that promotes positive values, access to culture, and active participation of young people in the cultural life of Fuerteventura. The recording will be done while respecting the environment, minimizing impact with actions to restore the beach, in collaboration with the City Council.
The Vice President of the Government of the Canary Islands, Alfonso Cabello, highlighted the significant role that the audiovisual sector plays in the economic diversification of the Canary Islands. In 2014, 154 films and series were shot in the archipelago, generating an investment of 218 million euros, a 50% growth compared to 2023. Cabello also emphasized the boost that the audiovisual sector is providing to the creation of high value-added jobs, with 14,000 jobs created last year. «The declaration of the audiovisual sector as strategic 16 years ago is yielding huge results,» he said, citing the example of the ‘La Reina de Flow’ shoot.
The Mayor of Pájara, Alejandro Jorge, encouraged all the young people in the municipality to participate in this unique experience in Morro Jable.
The attendees are reminded to avoid wearing clothes with visible commercial brands and that, by attending the event, they consent to the use of their image in the recording. Entry is free, and the shoot will continue throughout the afternoon. Access will be from Avenida del Saladar.
Worldwide Impact
Since its premiere in 2018, ‘La Reina del Flow’ has captivated audiences worldwide with its emotionally charged, dramatic, and musical story. Centered on the life of Yeimy Montoya and her struggle to overcome adversity while conquering the reggaeton world alongside the other lead, Carlos Torres, it has become a resounding success, accumulating awards like the International Emmy for Best Telenovela in 2019. The third season promises to keep viewers on the edge of their seats with unexpected twists, more music, and unforgettable moments.
