Work has been carried out at CEIP Tiscamanita, IES LA Oliva, CEIP El Ciervo, and IES San Diego de Alcalá and will be extended to 37 centers across the entire island
The student-workers of the ‘El Cabildo, Actúa’ employment plan are currently carrying out improvement and rehabilitation work at nearly thirty educational centers on the island. The tasks involve minor construction activities and have recently been executed at CEIP Tiscamanita (Tuineje), IES La Oliva, CEIP El Ciervo (Pájara), and IES San Diego de Alcalá (Puerto del Rosario), with plans to expand to centers in other municipalities.
The teams have been engaged in conditioning, beautification, and repair tasks to address the damages experienced by the centers, aiming to maintain the infrastructure in optimal conditions for students and teachers. The activities include interior and exterior painting, grandstand conditioning, door and wall repairs, gardening, among others.
