A 42-year-old man was injured this Saturday after falling on the breakwater in front of c/ Francisco Andrade Fumero, in the municipality of Arona, in Tenerife, as reported by the Coordinating Center for Emergencies and Security (Cecoes) 1-1-2.
The incident occurred around 19:21 hours, when the 1-1-2 operational room received an alert reporting that a person had fallen on the breakwater and was unable to get out on their own, requiring rescue and medical assistance.
Upon arrival, Tenerife Fire Brigade personnel rescued the injured person and evacuated him to where the SUC ambulance was located, where he was assisted and then transferred to the mentioned hospital.
In the initial assessment, the affected individual had a moderate lower extremity injury.
