Inscripciones abiertas para la segunda edición de CuenteAndo en La Laguna
The City Council of La Laguna, through the Department of Education and Youth, has opened the pre-registration period to participate in the second edition of ‘CuenteAndo’, a cultural and family leisure proposal that combines hiking, storytelling, and musical performances in natural corners of the municipality. This new event will take place on Saturday, July 6th on the Camino de La Punta, with limited spaces and prior registration through the project’s official portal.
The initiative is designed for children and adults to share an enriching experience around the natural and cultural heritage of La Laguna. Each route lasts approximately two hours, with theatrical and musical interventions that appear unexpectedly during the journey, as well as a healthy breakfast in the middle of nature.
The Councilor for Education and Youth, Sergio Eiroa, emphasized that «CuenteAndo is an intergenerational activity, with an integrating vocation that connects popular culture with enjoying the environment and family time. We are excited to see how proposals of this kind fill public spaces with coexistence, creativity, and emotion.» He also added, «from the department, we are committed to quality educational leisure, accessible, that stimulates community values and promotes healthy lifestyles.»
The complete program of trails includes four different routes during the summer. After the Camino de La Punta, the next dates will be July 20th in San Diego and August 2nd in Las Mercedes. All routes are of low difficulty, suitable for all ages, and with a limited capacity of 60 people per day.
The first of the routes, held on June 29th in the historic center, was a resounding success with sold-out spaces and a great reception from the public, who enjoyed a morning of stories, music, and moving theater through the streets of the city. The activity had the participation of families from all districts, reinforcing its inclusive and transversal character.
