Un total of three men were injured after a head-on collision between two vehicles that took place around 02:30 on Tuesday at kilometer 58 of the FV-2 road, within the municipality of Puerto del Rosario (Fuerteventura).
According to the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (Cecoes) 112, Firefighters from Puerto del Rosario had to free one of the affected individuals who was trapped inside one of the vehicles.
The Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) assisted a total of three people, including the man who was extricated by the firefighters and suffered serious injuries, so he was transported by a medical ambulance to the General Hospital of Fuerteventura.
In addition, a second man sustained serious injuries and a third had moderate injuries, both were also evacuated by ambulance to the same hospital.
Meanwhile, agents of the Civil Guard took charge of conducting the necessary proceedings.
