La Gomera celebra el Día de Canarias con una agenda cultural diversa

The Cabildo de La Gomera presented on Monday the schedule of events for the Day of the Canary Islands 2025. The agenda, which will take place between Tuesday, May 20, and Saturday, May 31, brings together a cultural and festive proposal in all the municipalities of the island. The initiative, promoted by the Department of Culture, includes musical, theatrical, exhibitions, and ethnographic encounters, with free entry until full capacity is reached.

The President of the Cabildo, Casimiro Curbelo, emphasized that this celebration «is one of our most emblematic dates, an opportunity to showcase our cultural heritage, recognize local talent, and celebrate our identity as a people.» Curbelo also highlighted that the participation of artists and collectives from La Gomera demonstrates «the commitment of the Cabildo to the strengthening of the cultural sector and the dynamization of island social life.»
