The president of the Cabildo de Tenerife, Rosa Dávila, has defended this Monday that her Government is «unstoppable» and citizens are already «beginning to notice» the change of direction of the island after the «airplane mode» and the «neglect» of the last socialist Government.
In the ‘Debate sobre el Estado de la Isla’, she has relied on some economic data such as the record employment rate –436,000 employed people– the creation of 20,000 new jobs since her term began, and the decrease in the youth unemployment rate to 18%.
The president of the Socialist Group, Pedro Martín, has criticized her «failed announcements» since taking office, while the Vox spokesperson, Ana Salazar, has criticized her speech as «cut and paste» from notes and press conferences.
