A 57-year-old motorcyclist has been moderately injured in a collision with a car in Cañadas del Teide, in the municipality of La Orotava (Tenerife), as reported by the Coordinating Center for Emergencies and Security of 112 in the Canary Islands.
The incident occurred on Sunday afternoon and personnel from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) attended to the injured individual, who initially presented with a moderate lower limb injury. The individual was then transported by ambulance to Costa Adeje Hospital.
Civil Guard officers also arrived at the scene of the incident to carry out the necessary procedures.
