A man was seriously injured this Sunday after being hit by a bicycle on San Borondón Street in San Bartolomé (Lanzarote), according to the Coordinating Center for Emergencies and Security (Cecoes) 1-1-2.
The incident occurred at around 12:58 hours, when the 1-1-2 operational room received an alert about the incident, prompting Cecoes to immediately activate the necessary emergency resources to intervene in the area.
Upon arrival, the medical staff of the Canary Islands Emergency Service assisted the injured man with serious polytrauma. He was later transferred in a medicalized ambulance from the SUC to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital.
Meanwhile, the Local Police conducted the necessary proceedings.
