Spain and Greece lead the TUI Group’s list of the 100 best hotels of 2025, accounting for 50% of the total in a classification that covers 11 countries and 33 destinations worldwide. In the Canary Islands, the best accommodations in the ranking are twelve and are distributed across the islands of Lanzarote, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, and Tenerife.
According to a statement, the best hotels in the archipelago are Aqua Suites, Hotel Fariones, and Hotel Lava Beach in Lanzarote; Bahiazul Resorts Fuerteventura in Fuerteventura; Hotel Nayra-Adults Only, Club Lookéa Maspalomas, Club Maspalomas Suites & Spa, Idyll Suites, Riu Gran Canaria, and Riu Palace Maspalomas in Gran Canaria; and Appartments Ambassador and Hotel Tigaiga in Tenerife.
This announcement comes just before the TUI Global Hotel Awards 2025 ceremony, to be held on March 3 in Berlin, where tribute will be paid to the hotels in the ‘top 100’.
The selection, which gathers evaluations from the German company, includes a variety of accommodations, from small family-owned and boutique hotels to large resorts, spa and wellness centers, ski resorts, and urban hotels.
Many of these hotels have maintained their position in the ranking for several years, while new additions stand out for their excellent service and quality.
In Spain, the hotels in the ‘top 100’ are spread across the island destinations of the Balearic Islands (Mallorca and Menorca) and the Canary Islands (Lanzarote, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, and Tenerife), as well as on the mainland in cities like Seville, Malaga, Alicante, Barcelona, and Jerez de la Frontera.
In Mallorca, hotels include Grupotel Molins, Grupotel Parc Natural & Spa, Hipotels Playa de Palma Palace, Hoposa Illa D’or, Hotel Bonsol Resort & Spa, Hotel Son Matias Beach, and Son Moll Sentits Hotel & Spa; while in Menorca, the Seth 55 Santo Tomàs can be found.
The list of 25 hotels on the mainland is completed by H10 Casa de la Plata in Seville, Ikos Andalusia in Malaga, Hotel Don Pancho Mainland in Alicante, Golden Port Salou & Spa in Barcelona, and Hipotels Barrosa Palace in Jerez de la Frontera.
