A 33-year-old man was injured on Saturday after being hit by a car on Avenida de la Constitución in the municipality of Puerto del Rosario, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (Cecoes) 1-1-2.
The incident occurred around 06:38 hours, when the 1-1-2 operational center received an alert about the incident. Cecoes immediately activated the necessary emergency resources to respond to the situation.
Upon arrival at the scene, medical personnel from the Canary Islands Emergency Service evaluated and assisted the injured man, who had moderate multiple contusions. He was then transferred by a basic life support ambulance from the SUC to the General Hospital of Fuerteventura.
The Local Police took care of the accident report.
